Stripes & Flowers for spring - FTW!
I saw this dress online & loved the colors/pattern. Went to my local anthro to check it out & despite that fact that I'm usually a 0P/00P in anthro dresses, I decided to try on the regular 0. So glad I did too! The length was perfect - the shortest sections hit just below my knee (I'm 5'0") and would be just right when seated. I imagine the petite to possibly be a little too revealing. It hugged my hips nicely & the top filled out well (I'm 30DD). I think the petite may have been too tight & prevented me from fully rotating my shoulders. The only issue I had with the top was since it's double layered (nice), the in-seam at the bust almost gives a pointy Madonna-esque look. I figured with some steaming I could flatten those out....also the cashier had just bought the same dress & said she steamed it for the same reason which helped, along with wearing a more push-up type bra. Beautiful dress - excited to wear it to a few spring weddings!

    Looks better in person
Size ref: 5'1, 125 lbs, 26.5 inch waist, short waisted Size ordered: 2P When I first saw this dress online I really didn't think much of it, but my mind quickly changed as soon as I saw bloggers wearing it. The petite sizing is perfect for me - any longer and I would look stumpy. The fabric is nice and light, but it is a bit wrinkly. The one thing that is frustrating is the zipper; it keeps getting stuck on the fabric when trying to zip it up, so it jams easily. I have so many stripes in my wardrobe, but this piece is definitely unique!

    Serendipity!
I have been desperately searching for a dress to wear to an event in a week, and ventured to my local Anthro in hopes of finding something and also taking advantage of the 20% dress discount. Enter this perfect number! It fits exactly as I had hoped it would--fitted through the torso, nipping in at the smallest point of my waist and flaring out in a fun flirty and twirly skirt. The woman in the dressing room brought me some open-toe black boots to try on with it and the whole look is PERFECTION. I'll layer my cropped black leather jacket with it till the weather warms but I love how versatile, comfortable and put-together the whole look is. Plus the booties and leather jacket toughen it up a bit. A few quick product notes: I am a stickler for detail and noticed a few hanging threads. No big deal but I'm a detail person. Also, if you have any kind of tummy, this dress will definitely emphasize it because of the stripes and construction. I am hyper aware of this issue as I am a year out from my last baby, and have only recently felt comfortable wearing things that are more body-con. I can also see why some reviewers felt this ran small--I am smaller chested and narrower on top so my regular Anthro 4 fit great. With a push-up bra the darts fit nicely. If I had been even a few weeks back when I was still carrying a bit more weight I probably would've opted for the 6, but in order for this dress to shine it really does need to be fitted on top.

    Perfect for graduation time!
I was worried about this beautiful dress. Reviews made me take pause. BUT - for me, this is a lovely dress and will work well for my needs. I was pleasantly surprised to find it lined on the bottom - with the cutest crochet type edging. And YES! It has pockets! They aren't the ones hidden on the sides, but adorable welted pockets that are lined also! It is a teeny bit loose in the bodice, but since I am not a "sleeveless: gal, with a little cardigan, it works just wonderfully. Another Maeve winner for me! Oh - and getting it on sale - yipppeeee!

    Where's the pouf???
I had read the reviews about this dress and the puffiness of it. However, I took a chance an bought this online without trying it on because I like to be different. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the dress is beautiful with nice detail and no pouf. Perhaps it is because it was folded and packaged in plastic when it arrived? Not sure, but I have not experienced the pouf with this dress. I think this will be great the 90 degree "spring" weather in Phoenix -:(

    Better than expected!
As other reviews have mentioned, there is a "poof" to the skirt portion of this dress (a tad more than what the photo shows) but I found it to be just enough without being too much for my frame. I ordered a 2P and for reference I am 5'2" 110#. Color is true to what the photo shows and I've paired mine with a camel colored belt and teal, mustard and cream cardigans. My new favorite dress!

    Oh, Such a Pretty Dress...
This dress is lovely, truely. I have listed it as "runs small", especially in the top half of the dress. Let me explain... FYI: 36C, broad shoulders/back, short waisted,, 5'3", dress size 10 (pant size 4/6) In this brand, I almost always have to size up due to my bust size and broad shoulders/back. If you were slimmer on top, then perhaps you could choose your regular dress size. I tried on a 12, and it fit perfectly. I am short waisted, too, and the lace band around the dress fell perfectly at my high waist. If you were long waisted, perhaps it would be somewhat empire on you. The zipper of the dress (back) was a little bit of an issue, though. Not due to size, it stuck a little going up and down the garment. Otherwise, the dress has a nice feel. The silk is substantial, and the dress is lined. There is not a see-through problem. There are no pockets, though this would have been a nice touch. Overall, this is a really pretty dress that can be worn casually with flats, sandals, or wedges, but you could also put dressier shoes and jewelry on to bring it up to a summer wedding or other more formal event. Overall, this is a good buy for such a pretty dress.

    Just lovely!
This dress is such a fun spring to summer dress. the material is beautiful and it has such flow and movement. The top is very fitted, and as another reviewer noted, if you have a larger bust, you may need to size up. I took my usual 0p at 32.5-24.5-32.5. At 5'2", the 0p was not as short on me as the model, but the length was perfect for me right above the knee. I can see wearing this to parties with heels, and dressed down with more casual shoes. Colors in person are just like the picture. It has just the right amount of material in the skirt. The v neck flatters without being too low cut. Arm holes perfectly are perfectly sized so that your bra does not show through. Highly recommended!

    Gorgeous
This dress is just as beautiful in person as it is in the picture. The fit is amazing too. My only drawback is that the v-neck is a little deep on me, but it's not too bad. Overall.. awesome!

    Ready for summer
I received this in a size 2 (usual size in Tracy Reese) and it fits nicely on the arms, chest and waist. I really love the pattern - it is so cheerful. The fabric is crisp and lightweight with a texture to it. I want to plan a vacation around this dress ... I just wish this was about 3 inches longer. It hits me about 3-4 inches above my knees making this a dress that I would feel most comfortable in flats/sandals. I am 5'4" (34B, 125lbs) and I think I'll keep this dress because it is so pretty. If you are really petite and you don't like your dresses too short - go with the regular sizing. This dress also sadly does not have pockets.
