Coté 5 sur 5Â par emster time to bake!
Yes, they are large and heavy but that's what I like about them -- these won't bend backwards when I scoop out my cookie dough! The design motifs (each spoon is different) are correspondingly chunky, which I like, but if you are expecting to match Grandma's silverware then be warned that these are not "fine" pieces. Volume: I checked them against my regular measuring spoons and these are accurate. Size reference: the tablespoon is 7-3/4 inches long, and the eighth-tablespoon is 4-7/8 inches long. Happy cooking! Coté 5 sur 5Â par uniquefinds Fun Measuring Spoons
Finally someone has created some unique, yet practical measuring spoons. The quality is great and the design even better. They are easy to use and actually make measuring ingredients more fun for me. Each one is different and I love that. The size of each spoon is printed well and easy to read. These have actually turned into a conversation piece in my kitchen. So happy to have them and would recommend them for anyone who wants to add something cleaver and unique to their cooking tools collection. 16 novembre 2009
Coté 5 sur 5 Beautiful and functional
I love love LOVE these. I cook a lot, 5-6 days a week and I use my measuring spoons pretty regularly (these are 1 of 3 sets of measuring spoons). They are well weighted and I love the long handles, they fit my hand nicely. As previous reviewers have noted yes, they 'tarnish' upon being washed. In my opinion the tarnish fits the design of the spoons well and just makes them look more antiqued as the handles suggest. These are, as stated in the product description, brass...not silver. Silver quality should not be expected. I find them to be very functional and pretty regardless of what they are made of, and worth the price tag. 16 décembre 2011
